The
Kehillah youth group is
geared towards teens in 8th-12th grades. Each school year, these teens have
the opportunity to participate in approximately 10 programs that are a mix
of social, educational and social action programs. Some examples programs are:
pizza and movie night at the Kehillah, schmooze with the rabbi (on a topic
interesting to a teen), organizing recycling at the Kehillah and participating
in a Kehillah-wide Mitzvah Day.

looking for volunteers to take donated money for parking during UNC games. All
money goes to Habitat for Humanity and IFC. Two to five volunteers needed per

This youth group provides innovative, exciting, creative, fun, and engaging
programs designed to meet teens’ religious, intellectual, spiritual, and social
needs. By participating in this group, teens remain connected to the Kehillah
and to their peers, learn Jewishly, engage in social action activities and are a
part of the community.
