The Chapel Hill Kehillah welcomes the involvement of all prospective and current members. We host several new and prospective member events each year, including potlucks, picnics, and programming for all ages. We also reach out to prospective and new members at services and our other events. We enjoy making connections, meeting new friends, and building community.

 

Members enjoy many benefits, including celebrating life cycle events, joining a chavurah, attending High Holiday services, receiving our Shana Tova (New Year) and Purim bags, attending religious school, pastoral counseling, having priority for the preschool, and getting discounts on preschool tuition. We cherish all our members, and we thrive because of their active participation and generous financial support in Membership Commitment (Dues), Builders' Fund, and other contributions. Kehillah Membership is intended to be affordable and fair to all members, while supporting the basic expenses of the congregation. We wish to include everyone, regardless of ability to pay.
