Each year the Kehillah hosts a silent auction both as a community-builder and a fundraiser. For each of the past two years, the event has raised over $13,000!

 

New in 2007 was the “Decades of Dance” contest, for which contestants competed in dances dating from the 1940’s through the 1980’s. Folks' danced the night away—and then watched fellow community members do the Twist, Shout, Jitterbug, Saturday Night Fever, and Freeze Dance!

 

In 2008, the silent auction will be expanded to include even more Kehillah families and options for participation. Several members will host dinner in their homes, and families choose which dinner to attend. After dinner, all families will come to the Kehillah for dessert and the auction.
