Rescue and Reunion. Sun., Mar. 14, 10:30 a.m., Sanctuary. An incredible reunion took place: Hal Meyers, who as a German Jewish child was rescued from a French interment camp; Simone Lipman, a French social worker who saved children hunted by the Nazis; and Cora Meyers, whose father played a key role in all of their lives. Join Simone, Hal, and Cora as they present their story of this incredible history and reunion.

Social Action

Global Hunger Shabbat. March 19-20--a time of solidarity, education, reflection and activism to raise awareness about global hunger. The Sixth Grade parents will host a Hunger Kiddush after services on March 20 and will serve beans, rice, and cornbread - what most of the world eats. We will also have information for supporting and walking with Team Kehillah in the 2010 Crop Hunger Walk on March 21. Please join us! More info: Rebecca or Susan.
