IFC Food Bank needs: pasta, pasta sauce, dried beans, soup, peanut butter, cereal, grits, oatmeal packets, rice, canned vegetables, cooking oils, spices, sugar. Personal items: deodorant, razors, shaving cream, soap, shampoo, lotion, washcloths, etc. Volunteers needed! 929-6380 ext.30. More info.

 

Look for details for our High Holy Day food drive; bring canned food on Yom Kippur and donate to Mazon, a Jewish hunger relief organization.

Community Events

Have you always wondered what Jewish Meditation is? What makes it Jewish? Weekly Jewish Meditation Group, Sundays, 10 - 11:30 a.m., Beth El Synagogue. How do you meditate? What if I

do it "wrong"? (Don't worry, you can't do it wrong!) Come at 10 a.m. on Sunday, Sept. 26, and you will get the answers to these and your other questions. This is an opportunity to begin, resume or deepen a joyful Jewish Meditation practice.  We meet downstairs - use the bottom parking lot, side entrance.
